Black Holes are the wonders of the universe. They are celestial demons that gobble up
Everything in their way. From astroids to even other black holes!
But understanding black holes is extremely hard. They bend the laws of physics by so much that they are ununderstandble.
Black holes start when a massive star( around 4x and/or higher than the sun's mass) starts to die. First, they fuse the
Hydrogen to Helium. Then they fuse the Helium to carbon dioxide or oxygen. Then they fuse those elements into the metal silicon. Then, the silicon fuses into heavy-metal iron. Iron is the death of a star. It is impossible to fuse into. Because of this, the star's gravity and core radiation(pressure) becomes unbalanced. The star collapses on its self. When this happens,
the electrons and the protons in the core atoms start to get very close together. When the electrons get squeezed enough, they hit the protons and when that happens; the protons become neutrons. When the star explodes, either the particles' outward pressure wins or gravity+mass wins. If particles win, then a neutron star is formed. If gravity and mass wins, a Black Hole forms.
Since the star's core is crushed so much, a singularity+black hole forms. The singularity or a ringularity is a slight point with infinite gravity. So, how physics-mind bending is a black hole? Well, it's extremely bending. When something comes near a black hole, they enter the ergosphere. In the ergosphere, time is very weird in there. If a person goes in there, nothing wil happen to them but they will feel sick. When a person enters the event horizon, they never return because that is the point of no return. What the person might see that everything is turning red then blue when they go into the black hole. This is called redshift and blueshift. Spectators might see that the person is on the black hole and he/she is stopped. Then the spectators might see the person turning red.
In conclusion, black holes are the weiderst objects in space. People have been facinated in
them for years.
